Rhodes, Greece

15th February 2019

Rhodes was a nice greek island near to Turkey, where one of my close relatives was staying for work. It had a lukewarm sea around the island. Even though it was cold (because it was February), I stayed in the water for a little while and I got used to it. I even started swimming! It has a few towns, but the ‘capital’ was called Rodos. We stayed there for a week in George’s Apartments. Around the old town there were lots of cats, more than in probably most historical town around the world! It had a couple of old places like the Palace of the Grand Master of the Knights of Rhodes, The Acropolis of Rhodes that was sadly being fixed so it was in scaffolding, and the bell tower. In the old town there isn’t many open shops, but in the New town there’s a M&S Clothes shop (bizarre!) and many cafes. There’s many english shops and cafes in the new town actually! In the Archaeology Museum, which is an old building, there are several things that you can see that are very old (over 1000 years!)

Here is a trailer for a film I made about Rhodes

I love the trailer! I adore cats so I’d like to go to Rhodes too. There’s an island near Venice that is also famous for cats; also there used to be a big colony of cats in Rome. Maybe I could go on holiday to all the cat places. I also love swimming in the lukewarm sea. 🙂
