Mountfitchet Castle and Norman Village of 1066

The Mountfitchet castle was a small castle groundsup on the hill by Stansted Mountfitchet. It even has the largest toy meuseum in the world. It is a remote and silent place to get to explore and use some objects from the norman times. You even get to feed pets from the norman times! The large complex is completly kid-frendily, as your children can get a hunt where they have to collect all their stamps and at the end they get a suprise. In the toy meseum there is a haunted manor, only £1 per person, which is basically a floor with pretend cobwebs and skeletons (not as scary as it sounds) to visit. We were aming to get the sun while we were there, but we got rain. I would reccomend Mountfitchet Castle as an attraction to visit at Stansted Mountfitchet.
